Good reading.

I’m right at that point of just walking away from the computer for a while. I spend far too much time on the thing than is good for me and scads more time on the Internet. I could be writing emails, or writing comments on people’s Flickr photos, or just plain writing something for the blog but it really winds up being a time gobbler.

Today I managed to get up really, really early; I’m trying to get back to a regular schedule again after getting that job out this week. The good thing was I managed to get the Internet time in earlier in the day (although again way too much time) and still get out in the world and get a lot done. Spent an inordinate amount of time running errands locally which involved tooling around on the scooter. I am actually feeling more comfortable and taking it out for longer and longer spells.

A week or so back I was out riding around for six hours all over Westchester. I want to get up to Bear Mountain and down into Rockland with it. Next week I’m taking an 80-mile roundtrip up to Connecticut with it.

Anyway, the thing I started to say was that one thing about the Internet is there is a lot of other good writing out there to read. I know, some of it is up in the sidebar and I try to visit those sites regularly.

A place I check out and have come to enjoy is Jamelah’s site. I think I found her through Flickr although I am not entirely sure. I was going to write something about a post she had two weeks back that had me in absolute hysterics (and also conveyed mysterious and fascinating information that I was a man was astounded by).

This week though she once again made me bust up with laughter in a post about what I have termed as her HPFB (Hypothetical Potential Future Boyfriend):
Also if you could not pick your nose and then touch me, I think I might love you. Seriously, don’t do that. It is completely vile on at least 150,516 different levels.
